Mr. Cahill was born, raised and educated in Birkenfeld, Oregon. He worked as a log truck driver before entering the US Army in 1943 where he served in the 398th Engineers Corps in the European Theater. Following the service, Robert worked as a commercial truck driver. He retired as a Teamsters Driver in 1983. Robert was an avid hunter.
