On May 17, 2011 Carrie Ann Iles - Frankie Burns Patterson passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years old. She is preceeded in death by her daughter, Patrice Patterson, brother, Donald Burns and brother, Robert Burns. She was born in Ontario, Oregon on February 22, 1924. She raised her family in Portland Oregon. She is survived by her children Gayle Westerhuis,Susan Tracy, Scott Patterson and Lisa Shipley, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Shereceived her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and taughtat Boise Grade School and Roosevelt High School.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints residing in North Portland. A viewing will be held in her honor at the Hustad Funeral Home,7232 N. Richmond Ave. 97203 from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, May 21st.She will be buried next to her daughter, Patrice, at Skyline Memorial Gardens
