Scott Logan

Born in Connecticut, Scott came to Oregon with his family when he was young to the Eastern Oregon town of Milton-Freewater. Scott graduated from high school there and later moved to McMinnville, Oregon where he served his Funeral Home apprenticeship. He graduated from Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts in 1991 and returned to Oregon afterward to attend Portland State University. Scott has worked in the funeral business in Portland the since 1992, and had been General Manager at one of Portland’s larger funeral home-cemetery combinations. When the opportunity came to take ownership of the Hustad Funeral Home in early 2011, Scott was pleased to have the chance to serve the families in the St. Johns Neighborhood and North Portland area. Scott lives in Portland with his wife and two children He is a member of the North Portland Kiwanis and serves on the board of the Good Samaritan Food Bank of North Portland.

Joseph O. Hustad, Jr.
Joe Hustad, Jr. was born in Portland, Oregon. A graduate of Roosevelt High School, Joe attended Pacific Lutheran University, graduating in 1971.
Joe began working around the funeral home when he was very young and recalls washing cars and mowing the lawn for his Dad when he was just nine years old. Later he joined the family firm and shared in the responsibilities with his mother, father and brother.
Joe’s hobbies include Art History, Bird Watching, Personal Fitness and his Norwegian Heritage.
