William (Billy) Paul Belanger:

March 3, 1942 ~ February 23, 2021

Bill Belanger, 78, died on February 23, 2021 peacefully at his floating home in Portland. He was born on March 3, 1942 in Portland, Oregon the son of Don Lindeman adopted son of Wilfred (Willy) Belanger and Jennie Mae (Stickney) Belanger.

Bill was very active in track and field in high school and for many years carried newspapers for Willy, who worked for the Oregonian.  He loved mountain climbing, river rafting, boating, and any kind of racing and visiting with family and the many friends he made over the years.

He started in the Masonry Trade in 1967 and retired in March 2001.  He loved his work and immensely enjoyed all the great guys he met and worked with (many of whom he had kept in contact with). He enjoyed life to its fullest working and playing hard.  He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon. A daughter from a previous marriage , Dana. Sister Mary Rankin ( Brother-in-Law Bob), Brother George Belanger (Sister-in-Law Eileen)

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Dick.
