Obituary

Santiago "Hago" A. Cisneros III, July 30, 1980 - March 4, 2013 Santiago A. Cisneros III was born July 30, 1980 in Ridgecrest, CA. He grew up in the majestic beauty of Idaho in the Rocky Mountains. He attended school in Idaho Falls, ID. He later was a veteran of the U.S. Army. After being honorably discharged from the army, he spent time as a student at various colleges in the western United States. His courses of studies were focused in architecture. He personified love into all of his actions. He enjoyed the arts, heraldry, philosophy, history, traveling, family, food and music. "Viva La Familia" being his motto. He found comfort in people who also related to these things. But most of all, he enjoyed a good conversation. During his career with the U.S. Army, he attended ordinance school in Aberdeen, MD and became a track vehicle mechanic. He successfully passed training, was an honor student, and was then stationed in Germany. Honorable mentions during his experience with the army include an award for professionalism, army commendation medal, army achievement medal, presidential unit citation ribbon award; army good conduct medal, national defense service medal, and global war on terrorism expedition medal, global war on terrorism service medal, army service ribbon, and overseas service ribbon. Relocated to Seattle, WA, he proudly worked as a legal intern where he was highly valued and appreciated. Hago had planned to further his education and experience. He wanted to follow a course of study that would give him the opportunity to positively make an impact on the world. Hago transitioned on March 4, 2013, shortly after helping and listening to the homeless. He will be remembered as a testament to the human heart and will be missed by all who came across his path. The divinity of his soul bows to the divinity of your soul. A Celebration of Hago's Life is being held Friday March 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. Hustad Funeral Home, 7232 N. Richmond Ave, Portland OR 97203. He is being laid to rest with full military honors on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, 12:00 p.m., at Willamette National Cemetery.
