Sally McDonald died peacefully, surrounded by family in her home on November 27, 2019 in Milwaukie, OR. She was 87.

Sally was born on February 3, 1932 in Portland, OR to parents Fern and Harold Troutman. She married James McDonald in 1952. They moved to their Milwaukie home in 1956. Sally worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 42 years. She enjoyed spending her time with family at home in Milwaukie or at a beloved beach house in Rockaway on the Oregon coast.

Sally will be remembered as the matriarch of a wonderful, large and loving family. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James, and her four children, Tim, David, Pat and Teri. Sally was proud to have eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren that will remember her as Grandma, or "Grammie", and cherish the memories of birthdays, holidays and many a random Sunday spent at Grandma's house.

Services will be held on December 3, at 11:00am at Milwaukie Lutheran Church, 3810 SE Lake Rd, Milwaukie, OR 97222. All are welcome to attend and celebrate a life well lived.
