Ruth "Margaret" (Granat) Linhart, 86, passed away May 22, 2017. She was born in Portland on Sept. 4, 1930 to Richard and Ellen Granat. During her young years, she lived on Old

Germantown Road and graduated from Beaverton Union High School. She married Walter Linhart on Dec. 25, 1951, and they spent their first 4 years in Spokane, WA; while Walt was in the Air Force. They moved to St. Johns in 1955 and had a house built and moved in a year later. Through the years, Margaret babysat numerous St. Johns children at the house. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Tallman (Don); grandson, Cory Tallman (Kim), granddaughters, Randi and Rikki Tallman; great-grandsons, Tristian Tallman-Hill and Draven de la Garza and

great-granddaughter, Kassidy Gilmore and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Walt(2008), daughter, Cheryl Linhart(2012), daughter, Janet Linhart(2016), her

parents, and siblings, Gunner, Ellen, William, Dick and Hank. Donations to the Cat Adoption team in Sherwood, OR would honor her memory. Services will be held at 1:00 on June 3, 2017 at Hustad's Funeral Home in St. Johns.
