Robert Foster, 79, passed away Aug. 19, 2014, after a brief illness, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Hilbert and Lera Foster; wife, Lois; and son, Greg. He is survived by his wife, Marni; daughter, Dana (Kevin) Krieger; stepson, Sean Holub; stepdaughter, Ashley Holland; grandsons, Jake and Nick Foster; granddaughters, Kassy and Kiersten Holub and Amber, Emily and Laura Holland; and sister, Jean Nagel. Bob graduated from Grant High School in 1952, and became a partner in Smith Bros. and CFI. A longtime member of Portland Yacht Club, a celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at PYC. In lieu of flowers, please remember Bob with a smile and a kind deed.
