Ricky Lee Jackson, Sr., passed away on April 8, 2020.  He was 59 years old.

There will be no service at this time, a celebration of life will be planned at a future date. He is being cremated and will be laid to rest. The blessing of his life started in Baldwin Park California on September 13, 1960. There he grew up with his Grandmother Retha McClellan and his older brother Randy Lynn Jackson. He joined the Army. He was a very passionate and caring young man. He loved to sport his burgundy El Camino and stayed in the Santa Anita Racetrack where horse racing was a major hobby for him. He became a father to his oldest daughter Arlene Marie who was born in Pomona in 1985, after being hurt on the job and permanently disabled. They shared the bond on the racetrack as he took her many times. In 1989 they moved to Albany Oregon where this became their permanent home for many years. In 1991 shortly after moving to Albany he became a father round 2 to his next oldest daughter Alyssa Monet. Having his girls was his life. He was the best father a girl could ask for. He was active and always out doing something in the yard for and with the girls. In 1995 He had his 3 ^rd daughter Ashley Monique. After having 3 girls he didn't know anything more that mattered to him. He spoiled his girls from constant trips to the store buying cd players, bunk beds, riding lawn mowers and concerts. He did everything he could to make a great life for his kids. In 1998 he was yet up again for being a father in his surprise it wasn't another girl he brought to life a handsome young little boy which at that point he knew would carry his legacy forever, Ricky Lee Jackson Jr was born. With 4 children to care for he did an amazing job. Rick put anyone and everyone before himself. He was always that way. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He has made his mark on many people. He also was a grandfather to 6 beautiful grandchildren who will forever live on his memory.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Mary Jackson; Daughters: Arlene, Alyssa and Ashley Jackson; son: Ricky Jackson, Jr; Brothers: Rob Tamayo, Randy Jackson, Anthony Garcia; Sister: Lisa Tamayo; and grandchildren: Mahaelah, Azaviaer, Etrelle, Nailiah, Cerena and Cene
