Reita Ione Odell was born on May 2, 1933 in Buhl, Idaho to Roy and Vivian Brown.  She was raised in Guild's Lake in Portland.  Reita attended Commerce (now Cleveland) High School.  She was married to Merle Odell in Portland in 1950 and has lived here since.

Reita worked as a teacher's aide at the Applegate, Kenton and Ockley Green Grade Schools in Portland until her retirement in 1996.

She enjoyed Bowling, Oil Painting, Knitting, Crocheting as well as Camping and Fishing.  She especially enjoyed time with her family.

Reita is survived by her sons: Gary, Doug, Kenny and Michael; Daughter: Missy Cooper; 11 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Merle in 2016.
