Raymond G. Zimmerman, of Portland, died April 30, 2012. Ray was born in Killdeer, ND on September 3, 1915. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was married to Agnes Isakson in 1947 in Sydney, MT. They moved to Portland in 1948 and have lived here since. Ray worked as a Pressman at Crown Zellerbach until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the Elks and Eagles Lodges, was an avid bowler and was very proud of his granddaughters. He is survived by wife, Agnes; Sons, Don and Mike Zimmerman; Daughter, Kim Crumley; Brother, Ed Zimmerman; Sister, Ida Weldon; Granddaughters, Carry Zimmerman, Amanda Brock and Leah Steinhebel. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Hustad Funeral Home Chapel, 7232 N. Richmond Ave., Portland. Inurnment with honors will be at Willamette National Cemetery.
