Ram Kewal passed away in Portland, Oregon on September 30, 2015. He was born in Lau, Fiji on June 20, 1965. His parents were Ram Prasad and Leli Parbhati. Ram moved to Suva, Fiji when he was young and worked as a Security Guard at the United States Consulate there. Ram came to the United States in May of 1993 where he started his own Janitorial Business. Ram enjoyed cooking and entertaining for friends and family. He was a foundation member of the Fijian Association of Portland. Ram is survived by his wife Vanita Kumari along with his sons Raniel and Reenal Kewal. He also is survived by two sisters: Shui Raji and Mohini Narayan and a brother, Gade Ram Bhawah.
