Phyllis Joanne Rodriguez was born in The Dalles, Oregon to Curt and Charlotte Thompson on August 24, 1937.  She was raised and educated in The Dalles and attended The Dalles High School.

Joanne was married to Jesse Rodriguez in Stevenson, Washington on December 31, 1955.  They remained for at time in The Dalles to start their family before relocating to Portland in 1967.  They have lived in the same home in St Johns since 1969.  Joanne was a homemaker.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Jesse; her son, Robert; her daughter, Diane Thomas; her sister, Jeannie Comford;

Joanne has three Grandchildren: Tony, Jr; Shurie and Richie Rodriguez; Three Great Grandchildren, Alex, Willada and JR; and two Great-Great Grandchildren: Presley and Adella.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Tony Rodriguez.

A Funeral service for Joanne will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Hustad Funeral Home Chapel.  The burial will be at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery the following week.
