Norman "Scott" Baker, 70, a beloved partner, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024, surrounded by his family and close friends, following a courageous fight with cancer.
Born to Norman and Lorraine Baker on February 3, 1954, in Santa Monica, CA. Scott spent his formative years in Beaverton, Oregon and resided in Hillsboro, Oregon the past 40+ years. In 1972, having graduated from Aloha High School, he answered the call of duty and joined the United States Air Force.
Following his honorable military service, Scott built a successful career as an electrician. He was the founder and owner of Data Link of the Northwest, a computer cabling company. His talent and hard work led him to excel in various roles within construction and technology. Upon retirement, Scott continued to contribute to construction projects for family and friends.
Scott leaves behind his loving partner of 33 years, Sue; his four children, Chrisie, Michael, Stephanie, and Elizabeth; four granddaughters, one grandson, and two great-grandchildren.
Scott's legacy will be honored with an interment at Willamette National Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Hustad Funeral Home.
