Mathew Sharish Chand, 38, died after a courageous battle with cancer on October 25th, 2015 in Portland, OR. He was born on June 30th, 1977 in Suva, Fiji Islands to late Stephen and Sheela Chand. In 2000 he migrated to Vancouver, BC, Canada but fate had other plans for him. In July, 2004 he married Sandhya and moved to Portland, OR. Together they had two wonderful boys, Aidan, 6 and Ethan, 4. He is survived by his wife, sons, mother, parents-in-law, brothers: Steven and Patrick; sister-in-law Raijeli; sisters: Patricia, Agnas and Jane; brothers-in-law: Michael and Lawrence; nieces: Jane and Stephanie; nephews: Mathew and Stephen (Junior) and a brand new granddaughter Samarah. He was preceeded in death by his father Stephen Ram Chand.
