Duke passed at home suddenly after a 4-month battle to return home and get strong enough for a round of golf with his life/work partner, Bonnie…plans were being made!

Duke was born in Oregon City to Francis and Margrett.  He was raised in Aloha with his 6 brothers and sisters: Kay, Margrett, Mary, Cliff (Lori), Violet and Frank.  He was very grateful to have had several visits these last couple months with his surviving brother, Cliff, and his wife Lori.  He loved Cliff very much.

Duke married Suzanne Larsen in 1958, they later divorced.  From that marriage they had 2 daughters, Rebecca and Cheryl.  Cheryl passed in 2013 and he never got over that loss.

Duke is survived by his loving partner of 30 years, Bonnie Hall, his daughter, Rebecca, his many beloved Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Duke LOVED sports! He loved to reminisce about playing sports in school, bicycle racing and most of all…GOLF!  He loved to talk about the Pro-am tournaments he had gotten to play with PGA golfers.  He had Bonnie take lessons in 1994 when they met, so they could play golf together and they did!  Many courses over all these years.

Duke was very proud of his Military Service, both in the National Guard and the US Navy.

Duke has been a licensed Real Estate Agent for over 40 years in Oregon.  He loved owning his own businesses and finding and fixing homes to re-sell or to rent.

Duke will NEVER be forgotten by anyone that has ever met him. He will be missed and loved FOREVER!
