Maria Roverta (Sanderville) Ring November 25, 1938 - August 7, 2014 Maria Roverta Ring, 76, of St. Helens Oregon, died Thursday August 7th, in Good Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. Maria was born in the Blackfeet Hospital in Browning Montana to Richard Noble Sanderville Sr and Anna Phyllis (Applegate) Sanderville November 25, 1938. She was raised in Browning Montana , Beatty Oregon and Klamath Indian Agency, graduated from Chiloquin high School in 1956 and attended one year of technical college of Oregon Technical Institute in Klamath Falls, Oregon. After graduation she moved to Portland Oregon to work and soon after met and married Bennard G. "Bill" Ring for twenty years until his death. Bill and Maria had two daughters Rena Renae "Ring" Sanford and Lynn Leeann Ring deceased 11/7/1994, and son in law Daniel Sanford;three grand children Courtney Lynn Jensen, Taelor Marie Sanford, and Bryce Daniel Sanford. She has four brothers Richard Noble Sanderville Jr., Oliver Thomas Sanderville, James Joseph Sanderville, and Scott Anthony Sanderville. Maria is survived by her partner "Bud" Vernon. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces as well as grand nephews and nieces that she loved very much. Maria worked for 30 years for the BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) for the federal government where she achieved many accomplishments and many good friendships. Maria was loved by all and took great pride in her immediate family as well as love for her extended family. She never forgot a thank you card and always enjoyed giving presents to all the children she was close too, family or friends. Maria's viewing is from 5-6 pm Monday August 11th, Rosary 6-7PM Hustad"s Funeral Home7232 N. Richmond Avenue, Portland, Oregon. Mass will take place Tuesday August 12th, 10AM at the St John's Holly Cross Catholic Church 5227 N.Bowdoin St. Portland, Oregon. 97203. Immediately following, interment will take place at Willamette National Cermetery 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. Portland, Oregon 97086 at 12:30 PM
