Louise Larkin was born on May 18, 1931 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to James and Nellie Nix. She came to Portland when she was young. Louise attended school in Scappoose and Dixie Mountain.
She was married to Roy Larkin in 1953 in Kelso, Washington. Together they lived in Dayville, Oregon and then later Pendleton and Athena, Oregon. They moved to Portland in 1960 and have lived here since. Louise was a homemaker and a farm worker on Sauvie Island, later working for Tektronics as an electronics assembler. She then worked for the family company "Classic Car Care" as a car detailer and bookkeeper.
Louise was a Past President of the American Legion for District 8. She enjoyed travelling with her husband in their motorhome and was loved by everyone.
Louise is survived by her husband Roy R. Larkin; Children: Sandra Heath and Cindy Hagbloom and Mike Larkin; 18 grandchildren; at least 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children Patricia Lynn Larkin, Cathey Lynn Fisher and Sherry Amos.
A private burial will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Willamette National Cemetery.
