Linda Anne Johnson was born on June 15, 1939 in Portland, Oregon.  Linda attended Peninsula Elementary School, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1957.

Linda was always dedicated to her family, North Portland community, church and Swedish heritage.  Among many gifts, Linda was a loving wife and mother, wonderful cook and hostess, a friend to all, and a talented piano player and soprano singer.

Linda passed away on March 28, 2017 after a lengthy journey with Alzheimer's disease.

Linda is survived by her husband, Leland; sons Peter (Janet) and Duane (Lydia); sister Maxine Campbell; and five grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Linus and Elsie Hamren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church, 2201 N Rosa Parks Way, Portland, OR  97217.  Memorial donations may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
