Lamona Ackley passed away on 12/4/22 at the age of 90.

She was born in North Dakota and moved to Oregon as a young child with her parents and grandparents.

She was a beloved wife, mother and friend to many. She loved spending time with her children, grand children and great grand children.

Her talents were many, including sewing, knitting, crocheting, needle point and painting. She was always willing to share/teach others who came to her. She and her husband were very active in church where they both met and maintained very dear friendships to present.

She survived her husband Richard and has three surviving children, Steve, Scott and Laura.  There are six grand children, Justin, Joel, Maxwell, Ethan, Samantha and Sayfo. She also had four great grand children, Madison, Morgan, Caitlin and Molly.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday 12/15/22,  held at St Andrews Episcopal Church located at; 7600 N Herford Ave, Portland OR. Phone (503) 568-4541.   Service will begin at 10:00am, with a reception at the church, immediately following the service.  At approximately 12:15pm, we will proceed to Skyline Memorial Gardens for burial.  Located at; 4101 NW Skyline Blvd, Portland OR.  Phone (503) 292-6611.  All are welcome to attend.

In Lieu of flowers the family would gratefully accept a donation to The Herford House Food Pantry.  Checks can be made out to St Andrews Episcopal Church, with a notation "Hereford House Pantry". www.saintandrewspdx.com .
