Joshua Earl Dority, age 38, of Portland, Oregon died on April 9, 2014 of a brain tumor. He was born in San Jose, California but lived most of his life in the Portland/Vancouver area. He worked at Oregon Screen Impressions for 23 years. Joshua enjoyed gaming, guns & guitars. He stayed active skate boarding, biking or running. He was well liked by his coworkers who were more family than friends. You would often find Josh with a slice and a pint. Josh is survived by his father Tom Dority and mother Sherrie Garrett both of Portland, his sister Michelle (Brian) Kroll, and his beloved 6 year old niece Claire Kroll also of Portland. He is preceded in death by his pet cat Foozle just two days before. A small memorial service will be held at Montavilla Park picnic area on Saturday May 10th from 12-4pm. His cremains will be spread at an undisclosed location with close friends and family at a later date. His final arrangements were taken care of by Hustad Funeral Home. We especially like to thank the employees at Oregon Screen Impressions for their love and support during his last days and during this difficult time. His is greatly missed.
