Jorlyne David, 50 years old, of Koror, Palau, passed away on February 21, 2024, at home in Vancouver, WA after a battle of pancreatic cancer.

Jorlyne was born on June 6, 1973, to Kimiko Masayosi and David Emil in Koror, Palau. After Jorlyne graduated from John F Kennedy in 1981, She went on to study Business Administration at University of Guam.

After passing of her stepdad Heno Misech, Jorlyne moved back to Palau in the year of 1994 with his first-born son Timothy Misech David Esseling. After few years, she started working for Palau Bureau of Public Safety as an Administration Specialist 1 and was serving for 27 years.

In 1995, Jorlyne met the love of her life Westmorland Elibosang at Airai, Palau. Jorlyne and Westmorland went on to have one and only child, Kaleah Dilsikt Elibosang.

Jorlyne was predeceased by her father David Emil and stepdad Heno Misech, Grandmother Akiko Mtoched and grandfather Masayosi Siksei. She is survived by her husband Westmorland, son Timothy Misech, daughter Kaleah Dilsikt, Mother Kimiko, siblings Davis, Diane, Donald, Adelbai and Magdalene who are still alive. Jorlyne was also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews, Kalena, Kalene, Daylene, Kimora, Damon, Kannon, Uri, April, Chloe, Ngedebuu, Stella, David, Akiko, Heno, Misech,Devin, Zoe, Reyad, Tj and Keithen. She also survived with great nieces and nephews, Adena, AJ, Makoa, Ariah, Kash, Kamron, Mayumi, Tengami, Harumi and Mahina.

A Funeral for Ms. David will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Hustad Funeral Home Chapel, 7232 N. Richmond Avenue, Portland, OR.

There will be a reception to follow.

Jorlyne will be cremated following the service.
