Jennie V. Bailey, 93, of St. Johns passed away peacefully on January 24, 2013. She was born on April 26, 1919 in Maryville, Missouri and was raised and educated there. She moved to White Salmon, Washington where she met husband James Sanderson. After James had passed away, Jennie moved to Utah where she met Otto Winborne. They were married and relocated to St. Johns. Jennie attended Nursing School at the University Of Oregon Medical School and worked as a nurse at the Physician and Surgeons Clinic in Northwest Portland and also at Good Samaritan Hospital. In 1961 her husband Otto passed away. Jennie later was remarried to Fred Bailey; however he passed away in 1976. Jennie was a longtime member of St. Johns Christian Church. She is survived by her sons, Arthur and John Winborne, several Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Jennie is planned for April 26, 2013 at St. Johns Christian Church. Inurnment will be at the Klickitat County Cemetery in White Salmon, Washington.
