Jean Rose Murdock passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2014. Jean was born in Portland on April 26, 1926 to Tomaso and Rose Molinari. She was raised and educated in North Portland and graduated from Roosevelt High School. After her graduation, she worked as a secretary for Grant High School. Jean was married to Keith Murdock on February 8, 1948 in Portland. Keith passed away in 2007. Jean was a homemaker while her children were growing up and later worked for many years in Customer Service at Kenton Supply in North Portland until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Portland and loved gardening. Everybody in the area knew her from her neighborhood walks. Jean is survived by her daughters, Kristine Hastings and Kathleen Cartwright along with 3 Grandchildren and 5 great Grandchildren. Private Inurnment will be at Rose City Cemetery in Portland.
