James Scott Douglas,  aka "Scott" aka "Scotty" aka "Grandpa" passed away on May 7, 2020 in Portland, Oregon.

He was born on November 19, 1945 in Paris, TX to James and Allie Douglas.

Married to Linda since 1972, had one daughter.

Scott graduated from University of Oregon and worked to help others in vocational rehabilitation in his early career, later became a caregiver in group homes.

He greatly enjoyed college football, college and professional basketball, and live music. He was a frequent attendee to various jazz festivals in the city.

He loved spending time with his daughter, son-in-law (Jeff) and his 3 grandkids (Audrey, Elliott, and Wyatt).  He was a fun-loving and kind grandfather with a big heart.
