Helen was born on April 4, 1928 in Radziwillow, Western Ukraine to Daniel and Anna Kaczurec. She was married to George W. Allen on May 10, 1953 in Lebanon, Oregon. George passed away in 1982. She worked as an Executive Interviewer for a mental health counseling organization. Helen was a member of the Christian Orthodox Church, the Oregon Agate and Mineral Society, Phi Delta Kappa, Minerva Chapter 105 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Sauvie Island Grange. Helen is survived by sons: Timothy J. Allen of Mt Vernon, New Hampshire; Mark W. Allen of Portland, Oregon and Lewis D. Allen of Bay City, Texas. She has Seven Grandchildren.
