Harvey L. Carver was born, raised and educated in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Portland. Afterward he served in the US Navy from 1950-1954. After his discharge, Harvey worked as an electronics repairman at several companies in Portland. He was married to Mary Ellen Wolthausen in 1956 in Buena, Washington. In 1975, Harvey operated Harvey's Enterprises' with was located on North Lombard in St. Johns and specialized in Harley-Davidson Motorcycle parts and repair. The business ceased operations after Harvey retired in 1995. Harvey is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; Sons: Bob (Tracy) and Charles Carver and two grandchildren: Zoey and Alexander Carver. He was preceded in death by a son, Harvey L. Carver, Jr. in 1997.
