Gary Franklin Stacey was born in Portland, Oregon on March 28, 1942 to Willard and Minnie Stacey.  He was raised in Hillsboro, OR and went to Hillsboro High School.   He attended Oregon Institute of Technology.

He was married to Julie Robin in 1963 in Reno, Nevada.  They lived in Hillsboro, Oregon for a time but moved to St Johns in Portland, Oregon and have lived here since.

Gary retired from the Esco Coporation where he had worked as a Foundryman for over 35 years.

Gary is survived by his wife: Julie; His son: Gerald (Theodora) Stacey; Daughter: Diana (Manny) Halili; Grandchildren: Loren & Aiden Halili and Sidney & Alayna Stacey.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings and a daughter, Tanya Marie Stacey in 1972.
