Frank Alexander Corah passed away quietly in the early morning hours of November 9th, 2014 at the age of 101. "Frankie" was born in Walsh County, North Dakota on March 12, 1913. He was one of 11 children born to Joseph Caron and Mary Helt. He married Ethel McLaughlin in Lankin, North Dakota on October 16th, 1933 and had a joyous marriage until her death in 1978. Arriving in Portland during WWII Frank went to work in the shipyards. After the war he went into carpentry building homes with his brother in law and later for several large contractors building apartments, schools, hospitals and churches throughout the city of Portland. He was a member of North Portland Eagles where he enjoyed dancing and bartending. Frank is survived by his sons: Dale (Mary), Wayne (Rosie), and Allan (Shana), along with 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, November 29th at Hustad's Funeral Home 7232 N. Richmond Ave. Portland, OR 97203.
