Frances Keagbine passed away in Beaverton, Oregon on April 1, 2022.  She was 88 years old.

Frances was born on a dairy farm in Vernonia, Oregon on May 3, 1933, to Frank and Pauline Schmidlin.  She was raised and educated in Vernonia.  She met Francis (Frank) Keagbine through family and they were later married In October 1950 in Vernonia.

She moved for a while to New York as Frank had joined the military.  Afterward they returned to Portland, Oregon, where they raised their family of 10.  She spent her time enjoying and loving her family and friends. She was a grandma to all that knew her.

Frances was a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Portland and she loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her sons: Raymond (Nadja Knighte), Anthony (Theresa Rivelli), Patrick (Tamara) and Gerry (Jennifer) Keagbine; Daughters: Ann Vargas, Beverly Keagbine, Susan (Jon) Pinto; Sister: Theresa Marie Seal;  22 grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Pauline; Her husband, Francis Keagbine; Children: Kathleen Keagbine, Pamela Schmale, and Lawrence Keagbine; and brother John Schmidlin.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Hustad Funeral Home, 7232 N. Richmond Ave in Portland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5227 N. Bowdoin Street in Portland.

Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Portland.

Remembrances may be made to Holy Cross Catholic School in care of the church.
