Evelyn "Dolores" Durnal, 74, passed away on Saturday November 25, 2017 in her home, surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Harvey, her daughter Christina Berry, her son Timothy and wife Jodi, her grandchildren, Katelin and Gregory, her brothers, Daryl and Gordon Meadows, John Barber and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Meadows and Veneita Buntings and her sister Lisa Ellis.

Dolores worked at several neighborhood places over the years to include The Oak Pit on N. Lombard & The Lumberjack on N. Interstate.  She often said her most rewarding position was that of a teachers aide at Clarendon Elementary.  She truly loved all the children that she worked with.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday Dec. 1st at Holy Cross Catholic Church (5227 N Bowdoin).  The mass will be preceded by the recitation of the rosary at 10:15am and followed by a reception in the parish hall.

There will be a private internment will be at Skyline Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church.
