Emily Germaine Glover passed away on May 27, 2022 from a car accident. Emily was 39 years
old. She was born at Good Sam in Portland and grew up in Tualatin and Sherwood. After
graduating from Sherwood High School, she moved to Seattle where she obtained her Interior
Design degree from Seattle Pacific University. Emily's love for design, art, and aesthetics
permeated almost every aspect of her life. She moved back to Portland and worked as an
Interior Designer and later transitioned to the medical field, her last job being in women's health
at The Oregon Clinic. Emily found passion in her work through helping others and promoting
acceptance of all walks of life. She was a representative on her work's benefit and volunteer
committee, which helped a number of equitable and charitable organizations around the city.

If you knew Emily, you knew she was one of the sweetest, most compassionate, and caring
individuals on this earth and the void that is left in her absence will never be filled or fully
understood. Emily loved intensely and purely the people in her life and the animals in her life (as
well as those not in her life). She was a collector, an adventurer, a gardener and plant rescuer, a
nature lover, and an aficionado of all things rusty and cute. Emily found beauty in even the
smallest things that the rest of us might have easily passed by. She would want everyone to
follow in this path and find the beauty, love, and kindness in your lives and take the time to
cherish them every day.

Emily is survived by her husband Brett, mother Becky, sister Rachel and brother-in-law Christian
and nephew Carson, brother Josh and sister-in-law Abby and niece and nephew Georgia and
James, and her baby Scooter bug Praline. Emily is also survived by a very large extended
family and many friends who loved her dearly.

A celebration of life ceremony will take place at 2pm on August 7, 2022 at Barn Kestrel (20050
SW Johnson Rd, West Linn, OR 97068). To celebrate Emily's love for color, costumes, crafting,
and creativity, we ask that everyone wear a fun, colorful accessory, hat, or clothing of your
choice.

My Way Home Dog Rescue- Emily was an animal lover and had the biggest heart for any
