Ekkehard Friedrich Unverdruss, 81, of Portland, Oregon, beloved husband of Debra Ingle Unverdruss, formerly of Richwood, WV passed away peacefully at OHSU surrounded by his family on November 14, 2022.

He was born January 11, 1941 in Berlin, Germany to the late Friedrich and Gerda Unverdruss.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra, his son Troy and his son Erik and wife Tiffany and his much loved grandson Leo. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews residing in Germany and Italy.

He was retired from the PA Dept. of Welfare after 35 years of service.  He was an avid photographer, hiker and gardener who loved to travel around the world.  He was also a lover of classical music and enjoyed attending the Oregon Symphony each year.
