Doris Jean Hohnstein was born on Friday, June 27, 1930. She grew up in Northeast Portland with her parents, George and Elizabeth, and her seven siblings: Lydia Hohnstein, Marie Hohnstein, Esther Shank, Ruben Hohnstein, Betty Olsen, Irene Brady, and Eleanor Tento.Dorislived in Portland for most of her life with her beloved husband, Olen, to whom she was married for 60 years. Doris passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Olen Glen Morton, her parents and brother and sisters. She is survived by her son, Terry and her daughters Cheryl and Carol, and a granddaughter, Rachel Bianchini. Doris was a devoted Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. She was an avid fishing and outdoor enthusiast and adventurer. Her kindness, generosity, and sweet nature blessed us all and will be greatly missed.
