Donald William Eugene Taylor was born on July 18, 1946 and passed away on October 3, 2016 at the age of 71.

Donald was born in Seattle, Washington then moved to Portland, Oregon where he lived for most of his life. He has four brothers: James, Richard, Marshall and Mike, who preceded him in death. There are also two sisters: Dianna Howerton and Susan Taylor. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Juanita, and their three children: Randy Schauer, Greg Taylor and DeAnna Taylor. There are also three grandchildren: Conan Dooley, Jessica Schauer and Dillon Mathieu.

Rebuilding cars and racing were a huge part of Donald's life. He was proud to be in the pit crew for his grandson, who races number 47.
A Funeral Gathering will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Hustad Funeral Home, 7232 N. Richmond Avenue in Portland. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
