Claudine was born in San Francisco,CA on March 18, 1937 to Howard Leister and Katherine O'Brien. Claudine's father passed away when she was 2 years old. Her Mother, Katherine, contracted Polio when Claudine was just 3 years old. Claudine's mother and grand parents raised her brother John and herself in Portland and in Centralia, WA. While Claudine attended Lincoln High School in Portland, She worked at Meier & Frank Department Store in downtown Portland to help her family. Claudine enjoyed dancing. She was voted best dancer at Lincoln HS. In 1958, Claudine Married Alan Scott. Claudine and Alan had 4 Sons: Steven, Kent, Oren and Brian. Due to Alan's work they had lived in The Dalles, OR and had brief stays in Nevada and California. However, they mainly raised their sons in Portland. Claudine very successfully committed to her family as a homemaker. She was always attending to her Husband and Sons. She enjoyed making Jewelry, Drawing/Painting pictures. The greatest gift Claudine gave was a sincere love to her family and to other people. She would always smile and give people the benefit. After her sons had grown she enjoyed working part time. One job was as a demonstrator for different products at stores. She smiled and talked with many people. This was a position Claudine liked. Claudine's husband Alan passed away in 1999.
