Christopher Lynn Jeffries

Christopher Lynn Jeffries passed away In Portland, Oregon of Heart Failure. He was 52 years old.

Chris was Born on Oct 4, 1964 in Portland, Oregon.  He attended Elementary School at Astor and James John Elementary in North Portland.  He also attended Roosevelt High School.

Chris Married Lynette Clark in 1987 they had one child Cassie, and later divorced.

A Self-taught and hands-on learner Chris had a perfect memory for people, dates and events.

His varied work skills and experience included: Sign language skills, Welding, Carpentry, Foundry skills and brass work. He was a Journeyman Shipwright – Feb 1992 (Repair conversion, and barge Building.) He was also a Plumbing apprentice and lifelong Fishing enthusiast.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Albert Jeffries, and his birth father Stanley A. House, and his Daughter Sonya Monahan.

He was survived by his Children: Cassie Jeffries and Tiffany Clark, and 6 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held  at 11:00 AM on January 12, 2017 at noon at Hustad Funeral Home Chapel, 7232 N Richmond Ave, Portland Oregon.

Chris's Remains would be interned will be Lincoln Memorial Park.
