In loving memory of Carol Kay Maplethorpe Cernac born on August 14, 1935 in Portland, OR.

She passed away on June 26, 2019 in Portland, OR.

Her parents Carl & Bessie Maplethorpe.  Carol graduated from Scappoose High School in 1953. She married Robert Joseph Cernac on January 23, 1954 for 65 years.  Carol was a Longtime resident of Chapman, active member of Chapman Grange, GWA, cub scout leader, PTA for Scappoose and Watkins sales for many years.

Carol enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, reading books and taking care of her husband (Joe) and family.  Really enjoyed taking trips with her husband across the U.S.

She had 4 children; Joy (Mike) Winkelhake, Teresa Cernac, Tim (Trish) Cernac and Keith (Kim) Cernac.

5 grandchildren; Seth Winkelhake, Kayla Winkelhake, Josh Cernac, Jeremy (Jenny) Cernac,  Courtney Cernac and 1 great granddaughter (Eleanor) Cernac..

Preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings; Elmer, Elsie, Lloyd and Dale.
