Obituary
Bruce David Blevins, 72, passed away on April 9, 2017 at home in Portland Oregon. Bruce was born in Enid, Oklahoma to J.B. and Ruth Blevins. At a young age his parents and siblings moved to Sandy, Oregon where he grew up on a farm and graduated from Sandy Union High School in 1963. Bruce served the United States Army from 1963-1966. Bruce was an Auto Mechanic in Gresham area until he began working for Freightliner in 1973, retiring from Daimler Trucks in 2006.
Bruce enjoyed fishing and collecting Oregon beach rocks that he tumbled and polished. He was friendly and helpful to all, always loaning out anything whenever asked.
Bruce is survived by his wife Terry and daughter Sharla of Portland, twin brother Brian of Gresham, sister Janet of Dallas, and their spouses Cheryl and Paul. He will be missed by many family members and his dog, Westin. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Stanley.
Inurnment with honors will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on May 2, 2017 at 11am
