Brian (Jimmy) J. Jacoby

April 16, 1956 – February 8, 2021

Jimmy passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 8, 2021.  He was well-liked and well-loved by his friends and family.  Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Portland, Oregon and was living in downtown Portland.  Jimmy was honorable discharged from the Navy and was a graduate of Lincoln High School.

Jimmy had a great heart and cared deeply for his friends and family.  He would drop anything to come and help you in a moment's notice.  He missed his family so much and was dealing with depression and loneliness during these covid times.  Jimmy loved animals and had two cats, Jekyll and Hyde and Frankie.  Jimmy loved spending time at the coast and his lifelong dream was to move to the Oregon Coast.  He loved watching movies and playing video games.

Jimmy is survived by his family: Robbe and Susan Jacoby (Scappoose, OR), Judy and Dan Dickman (Metolius, OR), Maryanne Jacoby (Rohnert Park, CA), Heidi Hammon-Turano and Tony Turano (Novato, CA) and Keith Jacoby (Portland).  He was uncle to many nieces and nephews who are spread out in Oregon, Idaho, California and Washington, DC.  He was pre-deceased by his parents Ruth and Earl Jacoby (Portland) and his brother, Billy Jacoby (Portland). Jimmy will be missed by his family and friends very much.
