Benita Alioth (Gomez) 71 of Portland, Oregon passed away June 23rd 2025.

Funeral services will be held in Portland, Oregon at Hustad Funeral Home Friday July 18th at 12:00pm followed by a Celebration Of Life at 2:00pm at The Eagles Lodge in North Portland.

Benita was born December 7th 1953 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Juan and Mercades Gomez, moving to Worland, Wyoming in 1954 then to Portland Oregon in June of 1968 where she attended Roosevelt High School.

In 1972 she married Tim Alioth together they had Timmy, Tracy, Tera, and Terri.
Benita was a compassionate writer which she had participated in a few published book, where she had written poems and short stories in nine other anthologies through Write Around Portland.
Benita would also spend time a the Oregon Burn Center volunteering talking to burn survivors, and families that had been impacted by burns sharing her story to them and what she had overcame with her burns. She had gone to may conferences through the Phoenix Society for burn Survivors.

Benita also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was very proud that she had a great granddaughter that spoke spanish with her (well sometimes) that she loved, followed by a great grandson recently. She loved writing,,doing many different crafts, watching sports, going to the beach and the casino, her Wednesday activities and her Thursday bingo with her friends. Benita was very much loved by many and will forever be missed.Benita is survived by her son Timothy Alioth, daughters Tracy Alioth (Bobby Haynes). Tera Alioth (Joe Metoxen), and Terri Alioth, her grandchildren Chelsea Filippini, Anthony Alioth, Kyler Alioth, Kealina Alioth, Tayla Alioth, Tierra Alioth, and Ethan Alioth, Great Grandchildren Dahlia Pariente and Reese Alioth.
