Bardolph "Bardy" J. McConnell III passed away Nov. 14, 2019 in Portland. He was 48 years
old.

Bardolph joseph McConnell lll affectionately known as "Bardy" was born
on February 22,7977 to Bardolph Joseph McConnell Jr and Mary Graham. Bardy
completed his school years as a graduate of Jefferson high school. Throughout his
life Bardy worked for various companies but in his later years he was employed
by ABM industries where he was well loved by his work family.
lf you knew Bardy, you knew that he had a huge heart and it showed
through the love for his children. He relished his role as a father and made
spending time with them a priority. ln his spare time he enjoyed cooking, grilling
for family and friends, and listening to old school music where he could showcase
his smooth two step. Bardy had a personality that mirrored his heart of gold. He
had a wonderful sense of humor but more importantly he had compassion for
others in need and has been known to extend a helping hand.
After a 1-1 month battle with Renal Medullary Carcinoma Cancer, a beloved
son, father, husband, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend was called home
to rest where he will be dearly missed. Although it's unfortunate; the love ones
that he left behind understand that he's no longer suffering and his pain is now at
ease
Bardolph Joseph McConnell lll leaves to cherish his memory, love, and
laughs his mother Mary Graham of Washington. His loving wife Martinque
Johnson and children Bardolph McConnell lV, Tahjae McConnell, ShaQuoia
McConnell, Bardolph McConnell V, Bardy McConnell, Jaylon McConnell, Jayden
McConnell, Alicia McConnell, Tisha Simms, and iakana Wallace. Bardy will forever
be missed by his 4 siblings Sandra Thomas (California), Jacqueline Burns
(Washington), Belinda Sage (Washington), and his beloved brother Ronnie
Wallace (Washington), 9 grandchildren whom he loved deeply, and a host of
family members, life-long friends, and co-workers who will all love him and miss
his comedic nature and his good will to make you smile.
Preceding him in death was his father Bardolph McConnell Jr. May they
forever rest in love together.

A funeral was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at Hustad Funeral Home Chapel, 7232 N. Richmond Avenue, Portland, OR 97203.
