Arlena Mae Fuller was born in Portland on May 3, 1931, one of twelve children of Bayard Templeton and Gertrude VanWinkle Templeton. She died on November 10, 2013, at the age of 82. Arlena grew up in Portland and graduated from Cleveland High School. She married Robert Fuller May 7, 1949, and together they raised 10 children. She is survived by nine children: Letha Riverman, Debbie Gross, Neila Maunu, Lonnie Fuller, Ida Flippo, Marty Fuller, Paul Fuller, Connie Slatosch, and Tony Fuller; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She has three surviving sisters: Ada Scribner, Doris Demeter, and Nellie Jonasson, and one surviving brother, Donald Templeton. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert (Bob) and her son, Vernon. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7810 SE 15th Ave, Portland. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 15, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hustad Funeral Home, 7232 N Richmond Ave, Portland. A graveside service will be held at Salkum Cemetery in Salkum, Washington, on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 9:30 a.m.
