Anna Jane Witty August 6, 1923 - August 8, 2013 Two days after celebrating her 90th birthday Anna Jane Witty has joined her beloved husband Owan in heaven. Anna is the only child of John and Josephine Shimka. She is survived by her sons John Witty (Portland, Oregon), Owan Witty (Surprise, Arizona) and daughter Jo Ann Brown (Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Raised in a Catholic tradition Anna devoted her life to her family working both inside the home and outside the home. Her greatest passion was to help others. This led her to her favorite job working at a women's shelter. Having lived many years in Portland, Anna and her husband moved to Lincoln City where she worked and retired eventually returning to Portland where she would be closer to her family. She was a loving and caring person and was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed.
