Andrew Michael Bachman was born on November 26, 2000, at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon. He was the only child to Charissa and David Bachman. Andrew attended Holy Cross School (Pre-K to Grade 4), Holy Redeemer (Grade 5 to 8), and graduated in 2019 at Benson Polytechnic High School with a major in Automotive. He trained for a few years in Aikido, became a First-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, and dabbled in Parkour. Andrew's first words as a baby was "truck" and as toddler he became enamored with farm tractors. He loved and learned every part of a tractor motor part from his grandpa that he later named Grandpa's tractor "Rusty Trusty." Andrew's aptitude for fixing cars he inherited from his father. His dad would show him as they worked on his old classic Chevelle together. At 13 years old, he purchased his very first car with bottle return money. He learned to drive a 4-speed and started collecting cars. He enjoyed fixing cars and doing burnouts with his friends. Andrew was a kind and generous soul and was like a brother to all who knew him. Andrew worked at Dairy Queen, Baxter Auto Parts, Gruetter Sanitary Service, and Portland Disposal and Recycling as a fleet mechanic.

Andrew will be missed by his father, David, his mother, Charissa, his paternal grandparent Jane, and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

We know Andrew is now with his paternal grandparent Don, maternal grandparents Lolo Jose, Lola Celing, uncles Nick and Edgar and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5227 N. Bowdoin Street in Portland on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 10:30 AM

Interment will be at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery, 11666 SE Stevens Rd in Happy Valley, OR.
