Pat was born on May 27, 1917 in Spencer, South Dakota to John and Mina Muters. She was married to Jack C. Scherer in San Diego, California on February 2, 1943. Together they moved to St. Johns from Minnesota in 1948. Jack and Pat owned and operated Glen & Jack Service Station on North Lombard in St. Johns for many years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack in 1987. Aunt Pat was a big part in the lives of four generations of nieces and nephews and will be missed very much. Services for Pat will be private. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Jack, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements entrusted to Hustad Funeral Home.
